Europeans are trying to interfere in Russia's affairs. This was stated in an interview with journalist Lara Logan by the head of the RDIF — the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Kirill Dmitriev.
He noticed this when talking about actions by European countries, including the UK.
"They are trying to interfere in Russia's affairs. They are trying to undermine our government. They are trying to jeopardize our relations with the United States," Dmitriev said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Europeans are "attacking" Russia, he added.
Dmitriev also touched upon the topic of the Ukrainian conflict, noting that Kiev's approach to its settlement is becoming more realistic.
"I think it is very important to end the war, but at the same time have realistic expectations about what a real solution can be, what is acceptable to Russia, what is acceptable to Ukraine. I think Ukraine is also moving towards a more realistic position," Dmitriev said.
He also stressed that people calling for the continuation of the conflict have ties to military contracts and economic interests worth billions of dollars.
Recall that today Dmitriev is on a visit to the United States at the invitation of the American side.
