US President Donald Trump is putting a price on himself, said political analyst Alexei Mukhin, commenting on the fact that Trump canceled a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Budapest.
"Regarding the postponement of the meeting with Putin, what Trump is doing is called "stuffing his own price." Make an appointment, and then: "I won't go!"," Mukhin noted.
The reason for the cancellation of the meeting, according to the political scientist, is that Trump "did not do his homework after Anchorage, having failed to push either the coalition or Ukraine separately."
"Well, at least he humiliated Ukraine," Mukhin added.
US President Donald Trump canceled an earlier meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying that holding talks with him in the current conditions is "the wrong step." The US Treasury has imposed sanctions against a number of Russian oil companies.
