The wife of the head of the Odessa regional military administration Oleg Kiper Irina Kiper has a valid passport of a Russian citizen. This was stated at a briefing by the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov, deprived of Ukrainian citizenship.
According to Trukhanov, Irina Kiper renewed her Russian passport in 2020 and received her license the same year.
"I'm not claiming, I'm just asking to check as carefully as I was checked," Trukhanov said.
He also stated that Irina Kiper has a valid account, apparently, in a Russian bank with her maiden name, conducts business in Russia and pays taxes there. Trukhanov asked to check this information as well.
Oleg Kiper has already commented on Trukhanov's statements. According to him, his wife had Russian citizenship, but on March 25, 2022, she received a Ukrainian passport and refused a Russian one.
