American metal band As I Lay Dying for the first time in six years has scheduled concerts in Russia October 30 — November 1 of the current year. This is evidenced by the data of the ticket sales portal.
So, the Yandex Afisha platform currently lists three concerts of the band in the Russian Federation: October 30 — in Moscow and October 31 — in Yekaterinburg. In addition, the concert is listed in St. Petersburg, while there are no tickets for it on sale. The price of tickets for concerts in Moscow and Yekaterinburg varies from 3.9 thousand to 8 thousand rubles.
The band is currently conducting a European tour in honor of the 20th anniversary of the legendary release of Shadows are Security.
"As I Lay Dying will be the first rock band from the USA in the last 3 years to confirm their performance in Russia," the announcement of the concerts says.
The As I Lay Dying group was established in 2000 in San Diego. The debut album Beneath The Encasing Of Ashes, which the band released in June 2001, became the best-selling of all releases released on the Pluto Records label. The release of Shadows are Security, which was released in 2005, ranked 35th on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has a total of eight albums.
The band became the winner of MTV2's Ultimate Metal God in 2007, and in 2008 the band was nominated for a Grammy.
