The main threat to the European Union does not come from Russia, and from The North Atlantic Alliance, which seeks to turn the Ukrainian conflict into a global war. This was stated in the social network by journalist Thomas Fazi.
"We have little time left to prevent irreversible consequences for the entire continent," Fazi said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Russia does not pose a threat to Europe, since it has no strategic, military, or economic reasons to attack the European Union, the journalist noted. In his opinion, the EU is most threatened by the actions of NATO, which seeks to turn the Ukrainian conflict, in which it indirectly participates, into a real global war.
As reported by EADaily, Ukraine is the first line of defense of the North Atlantic Alliance. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The transcript was published on the NATO website.
