All kinds of sex and violence: spectators fled from the performance at the National Museum of Estonia

The Estonian National Museum (ERM) hosted a party on the occasion of the opening of the season, at which, among other things, the scandalous Estonian performance artist and singer Valge Tüdruk (White Girl) performed. Some guests were so outraged by her program that they had to leave the museum, the portal reports kroonika.delfi.ee .

The white girl was the last of all the participants in the event, around midnight.

"During the almost hour-long performance, a lot of profanity sounded on the stage, one could see half-naked dances, imitation of sexual intercourse, orgasm and ejaculation. All kinds of violence were demonstrated on the stage — from beatings to rape," the newspaper notes.

At some point, the audience began to simply leave the event.

Video recordings of the event are actively spreading on social networks, overgrown with outraged comments.

The museum decided to respond to the growing scandal. According to Mikk Zimer, Acting head of the ERM Communications Department, the museum is still a place of memory, an exhibition, research and event center.

"However, we need to experiment with our activities from time to time in order not to get into the psychological comfort zone, as well as communicate with target groups that we otherwise would not be able to contact," he explained the position of the cultural institution.
