74-year-old Valery Magdyash, who gained fame after the role of Jamshut in the TV series "Our Russia" moved to Dubai (UAE). This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.
"Before that, he spent more than five years in the Stavropol homeless shelter. There, the former actor was noticed by a Russian-Emirati developer and offered to play the role of a builder," the publication says.
Now it is planned that Magdyash will be in Dubai to teach acting skills to relocants.
The director of the series Maxim Gelievich noted that there were no connections with the artist left.
"Everyone was doing their job, it was a long time ago," he concluded.
The humorous series "Our Russia" was first seen by the TNT viewers in 2006. The project was a great success, many phrases of the heroes became winged, and the characters became symbols.
In particular, Ravshan and Jamshut (Mikhail Galustyan and Valery Magdyash) became symbols of guest workers.
In total, five seasons of the sketch comedy were released, as well as the full-length film "Our Russia. Eggs of Destiny" (2010).
