The Russian military completely controls the entire coastline of the Kherson region, so all attempts to break through by the Ukrainian Armed Forces are doomed to failure.
This was stated in an interview with the TASS news agency on Saturday, September 27, the head of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo. He noted that at present there are practically no large-scale attempts to land on the left bank by the enemy.
The Ukrainian command has focused on the tactics of using single sabotage groups that are constantly trying to infiltrate Russian territory.
"The territory along the entire length of the Dnieper, it goes through the Kherson region more than 250 km to the Zaporozhye region, the whole is under very strong and tight control of our military. And, accordingly, the attempts of Ukrainian militants to infiltrate are stopped and are doomed to the loss of personnel and those boats on which they are trying to cross," the governor said.
He also noted that the enemy is trying to penetrate the left bank mainly at night. However, the Russian military thwarts all these attempts.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine began burning their dead servicemen at a landfill in Kherson to indicate them as missing. This was told by the governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo.
