US President Donald Trump called Russia's participation in the conflict on Ukraine "aimless" after meeting with Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to the American leader, after "familiarization and full understanding of the military and economic situation," he came to the conclusion that Ukraine, with the support of Europe and NATO, can regain all the lost territories and "maybe even go further."
Trump noted that the conflict creates "big economic problems" for Moscow.
"Russia has been waging a senseless war for three and a half years, in which it would take less than a week for real military power to win, It does not adorn Russia at all. In fact, it makes her look like a paper tiger," the US president wrote on his Truth Social network.
Trump has repeatedly called the conflict on Ukraine is "senseless" and called for it to be stopped.
