The Russian Armed Forces broke through the powerful defense line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "New Donbass" in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military informant".

Russian units forced the Volchya River near the village of Ivanovka.

It is noted that the "New Donbass" has been built since the beginning of this year, taking into account the experience of the battles of recent years, based on defense and assault by small infantry groups. The main fortifications "are 1-2 massive anti-tank ditches with barbed wire, mines, anti-tank mines and firing positions hidden behind it," writes TK. It stretches from the borders of the Kharkiv region with the LPR to the border of the southern Donbass with the Zaporozhye region.

The main fortifications are located behind the large cities controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine — Volchansk, Kupyansk, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka and Pokrovsky.
