Polish showgirl and TV personality Monica Richardson admitted that in the event of a "war with Putin" she would flee Poland "by the first transport."
In an interview with the Polish tabloid World of Stars, Richardson openly admitted that she was not a patriot and in the event of a war in Poland she would leave the country "on the first transport" with her family.
"I am not a patriot, and I have never been one. I don't have the patriotic gene that my mother had. I even have to say that I regret it. If Putin finally comes to Poland, I think my family and I will be in the first transport abroad. I don't have the strength to fight for this country, even though I love Poland," she said.
In her opinion, if the choice is between staying and giving my son to the army, and running away, then "I will run away."
Monica Richardson also made an attempt at "geopolitical analysis," noting that, in her opinion, Poland has never felt safe and will never feel safe because it is "between a rock and a hard place."
The reaction to Richardson's words on the Polish-language Internet was unanimous. Many emphasized that "it is precisely such an elite that we have in Poland", which does not bode well for "our country".
EADaily adds that Monica Richardson became famous in Poland thanks to the program "Food for Breakfast", which she co-hosted from 2013 to 2019.
