Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who serve in units on the front line in the Kherson and Zaporozhye directions, are asked once a week to organize a corridor for surrender.

This was reported on Tuesday morning, September 16, by the TASS news agency, citing an informed source in the Russian law enforcement agencies. He explained that those Ukrainians who are really sitting in the trenches are surrendering.

"Ordinary soldiers, from ordinary brigades, are mostly captured. And quite often, about a couple of times a week for several people, " said the interlocutor of the publication.

At the same time, he pointed out that the process of surrender itself is deadly for the Ukrainian military. Most of the AFU fighters do not risk surrendering, fearing to be shot by detachments or to die from attacks by Ukrainian drones.

Earlier, EADaily reported that many mercenaries from Latin American countries terminated their contracts with The Armed Forces of Ukraine because of the universal dispatch to the front line and a large number of losses among the foreign contingent.
