The reputation of US President Donald Trump in Arab countries, especially in Arab monarchies, is now in question. This was stated by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.
So he commented on the incident with drones over Poland on the night of September 10.
According to him, NATO is now much more concerned about what happened in Qatar, "where Israel violated all international obligations and bombed its capital— Doha." Azarov recalled that the largest US military base is located in Qatar.
"They have a protection agreement, since Qatar has the status of a major ally outside NATO. And so, naturally, Trump kind of got a slap in the face, to put it bluntly, from his Israeli satellite. And Trump's reputation now in Arab countries, especially in Arab monarchies, in my opinion, is called into question," the former prime minister writes in his telegram channel.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump said he had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Israel's strikes on Qatar, and called them an "accident."
"I also spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu after the attack. The Prime Minister told me that he wants to make peace. I believe that this accident can be an opportunity for the world," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
