Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov during a conversation in The Finnish Foreign Ministry pointed out to the representatives of the Finnish side the abundance of unsubstantiated accusations against Moscow, including the alleged sabotage of infrastructure facilities in the Baltic.
"The Finnish partners were pointed out the harmfulness of the already common practice of indiscriminately accusing Russia of involvement in various kinds of "hostile actions", "hybrid influence" and "sabotage" in Europe, including at critical underwater infrastructure facilities in the Baltic. As is known, such insinuations do not receive any confirmation afterwards. At the same time, the Russian side has never waited for either public denials or elementary apologies," the message on the telegram channel of the Russian diplomatic mission says.
As EADaily reported, Russian Ambassador Alexander Zmeevsky, who was previously summoned to the Czech Foreign Ministry, suggested that his Czech colleagues reflect on who benefits from the hysteria around the incident with drones in Poland. In Prague, the Russian side was also accused of "deliberate violation" of Polish airspace on the night of September 10 using unmanned aerial vehicles.
Zmeevsky strongly rejected such a position, noting that the fact that the UAV belonged to the Russian armed forces was not established, and the investigation of the incident continues.
