A criminal case has been opened against two Volgograd residents who promised to arrange a contract worker in the rear unit for SMO for 1.3 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the FSB of Russia in the Volgograd region.
"Volgograd residents aged 57 and 45 offered to help their friend who signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to participate in SMO for a monetary reward. For 1 million 300 thousand, they promised, allegedly using their connections, to arrange a man for a position in a rear unit that does not take part in hostilities on the line of combat contact," the department said.
When receiving the first part of the reward, the Volgograd residents were detained. A criminal case has been opened against them under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. One of the defendants in the case has been detained for two months, the other is under house arrest.
