The targeted application of massive fire strikes exclusively against military facilities and facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine continues. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation — commander of the Joint Grouping of Troops (forces) in the special operation zone, Army General Valery Gerasimov, summing up the spring-summer offensive campaign.

"During the spring-summer period, such strikes were carried out on 76 important objects. Priority is given to the defeat of enterprises producing long—range missile systems and UAVs," he said.

He recalled that in July — August, together with the FSB of Russia, a series of massive and group strikes with high-precision weapons were carried out on key industries involved in the creation of the Sapsan tactical complex. Design bureaus, workshops for the production of elements of combat units, control systems and rocket engines were destroyed.

On August 28, rocket and aviation industry enterprises — Spetsoboronmash, Kiev Radio Plant, Ukrspetsystems and Samsung-Ukraine - were hit in Kiev. They produce components for the Sapsan, Grom-2 operational-tactical missile systems and attack UAVs, as well as the Starokonstantinov, Vasilkov and Kolomyia air bases of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Tonight, another effective blow was struck at the facilities at the Yuzhmash enterprises, the Design Bureau named after him. Yangel“ in Dnepropetrovsk, Motor Sich in Zaporozhye and the assembly shops of the Pavlograd Chemical Plant, which produce engines, warheads and fuel for missiles, as well as control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles," Gerasimov said.

According to him, in addition, aircraft and infrastructure facilities at ten military airfields — Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Dubno, Voznesensk, Cherkasy, Kanatovo, Kolomyia, Ozernoye, Vasilkovo and Starokonstantinov," said the head of the General Staff.
