The widow of the legendary actor, People's Artist of the USSR Alexei Batalov dancer Gitana Leontenko lost her eyesight. She reported this to the telegram channel News.ru .
According to the woman, it was done by unknown attackers.
"I don't watch TV, I don't see it. These bastards gave me something and I lost my sight. I just hear it," Leontenko said.
As reported by EADaily, in October 2019, proceedings began in the case of fraud with Batalov's inheritance. Actress Natalia Drozhzhina and her husband, lawyer Mikhail Tsivin, were accused of the crime.
The investigation proved that the couple insinuated themselves into the confidence of the sick daughter of the actor and his widow, forced them to sign documents on the transfer of the right to dispose of property. As a result, the actor's relatives lost their apartment, Batalov's workshop and about 20 million rubles in their accounts.
In the process of considering the case, the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow recognized the contracts of lifelong maintenance of the widow and daughter of the actor with a dependent invalid. In favor of Leontenko, 1.9 million rubles, $ 123 thousand, € 25 thousand were recovered from Yeast, 35 thousand rubles, $ 96 thousand and € 52 thousand were recovered from Tsivin, and about € 30 thousand were recovered from spouses in favor of the artist's daughter.
Drozhzhina and Tsivin categorically denied their guilt, but the court found them guilty. At the same time, Yeast got off with a suspended sentence of 4 years, her husband received 5 years in a penal colony.
