This is how he commented on the situation in Ukraine on Fox News after talks between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska.
"In the end, peace may not be achieved. We don't know… We never said that a deal would be reached at the end of this meeting [in Alaska]. Because there were no Ukrainians there," Rubio said, quoted by TASS.
According to the Secretary of State, the United States and the West as a whole are not a party to the Ukrainian "This is a war between two countries — Ukraine and Russia, not with America," he said.
