Hero of Russia Lieutenant-General Esedulla Abachev was injured, the Dagestani telegram channel "Ask Rasul" reports, citing a source.
According to him, the general is currently "being treated at the Vishnevsky National Research Medical Center of Surgery, his condition is assessed as severe but stable."
Ukrainian media claim that on the night of August 17, a convoy of Russian troops was struck on the Rylsk— Khomutovka highway in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, as a result of which the deputy commander of the North group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Esedulla Abachev, was seriously injured. As a result of his injuries, his arm and leg were allegedly amputated.
