The number of people killed in an emergency in The Ryazan region has grown to nine, 120 were injured, one more person was rescued from the rubble, according to the telegram channel of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

As previously reported by the governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov, a fire broke out in the production shop at the enterprise of the Shilovsky district. Malkov noted that more than 100 people were injured, five were killed. SUSK in the Ryazan region reported the initiation of a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence). It was noted that an emergency mode was introduced on the territory of the Shilovsky district of the Ryazan region.

"Another person was rescued from the rubble in the Ryazan region. The location of the victim was found by the cynological calculation of the EMERCOM of Russia. A total of three people were rescued. The bodies of four more people have been recovered from the rubble. According to updated information, 129 people were injured, nine of them were killed. Work on the site continues, " the report says.
