Preparations for a trilateral meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, will begin only if the visit to Washington of the latter will be successful. This is reported by CNN.
"US President Donald Trump has informed European leaders that he wants to organize a trilateral summit between himself, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin by next Friday and that he will start work on organizing a meeting if negotiations with Zelensky in the Oval Office on Monday go well," the TV channel reports.
According to European officials, they expect at least one more leader from Europe to join the above-mentioned talks on Monday, but it is not yet clear who exactly, CNN adds.
As reported by EADaily, Friedrich Merz gave the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, a number of tips on how to behave with US President Donald Trump in order to avoid a new scandal in the White House. The German Chancellor stated this in an interview with ARD TV channel.
Recall, the United States wants to organize a trilateral meeting on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict as early as August 22. This was reported by Axios with reference to two sources.
