Threats from the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the Bryansk region — the situation in the North Ukrainian direction of the front

The telegram channel "Rybar" drew attention to the aggravation of the situation on the border with the Bryansk region in the North Ukrainian direction of the front.

"Some time ago, Russian troops near Zhikhovo were able to catch M142 HIMARS less than 20 kilometers from the state border at the Belaya Berezka—Suzemka border. It would seem — what should a currently scarce high-precision missile system do in a quiet area? The answer lies in a possible escalation at the border. Opposite the Suzemsky district, at the Old Guta — Mid-Buda border, an increase in the activity of the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the presence of units of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces were observed in border settlements and forests. The MTR is represented by the Sever Center. According to some reports, their number may exceed 100-120 people. In addition, the arrival of additional FPV calculations is noted, which are actively hitting the border zone, the TC points out.

"To the west, opposite the Klimovsky district, the enemy rotates National Guard units into units of the 1st separate special purpose brigade named after Ivan Bogun, which may indicate the preparation of strikes in the border area near the border with Belarus in the Klimovo direction," writes Rybar.

He adds that the enemy considers the Bryansk section of the border to be the weakest fortified. At the same time, the presence of a dense wooded area makes the direction very convenient for sabotage and sorties.

"According to the current signs, it seems that a diversionary strike is possible in the Bryansk direction, while the main place of breakthroughs will be one of the already known sites in the Kursk or Belgorod region, where the necessary concentration of troops has been achieved.
