This was told to RIA Novosti by a Russian serviceman with the call sign King. He noted that our operators, thanks to this woman, understood that it was not necessary to "work" on this site.

"A small Christian, Orthodox chapel was seen. And at that moment, grandma ran out to us. Grandmother is with an icon, which made us realize that we don't need to work in this place," the fighter said.

He clarified that the operators did not manage to examine the icon immediately.

"Later, when we were reviewing, we saw that she came to us with the icon and showed the icon," the King concluded.

Recall that fierce battles for Krasnoarmeysk are currently continuing. This city is crucial for the fate of the entire AFU grouping in the DPR.

The liberation of the Pokrovskaya agglomeration would allow Russian troops to actually reach the western borders of the Donetsk People's Republic and continue the offensive in the Zaporozhye region.
