On August 12, a very beautiful 30-year-old girl, vice-Miss Russia 2017, participant of the Miss Universe 2017 contest, Ksenia Alexandrova, died. In July, she got into an accident in Tver region, where a moose jumped out onto the road, which broke through the windshield and inflicted severe injuries on Alexandrova. For many days, Moscow doctors fought for the life of Ksenia, who was in a coma, but she could not get out. Details of what happened on that fateful day of the accident were reported to RIA Novosti by Alexandrova's husband.
According to the man, the accident occurred on July 5 on the M-9 highway. The guys were returning home from Rzheva.
"On the way back between Rzhev and Zubtsov, this is the 191st kilometer of the federal highway M9, we encountered a moose. There was a road repair. The road is high, there are no fences from wild animals. A moose jumped out from somewhere, jumped out in front of the car. A split second passed from the moment he jumped out to the impact. I didn't manage to do anything. The moose flew into the cabin. The blow hit Ksyusha in the head. She was unconscious, her head was smashed, everything was covered in blood. The worst thing is that the frontal bones of the skull were broken. It was obvious that there was an open craniocerebral injury," the husband of the deceased model shared.
The couple was in a Porsche Panamera car, both were strapped in. The impact was not very strong due to the low speed, but it hit the animal's legs, so the airbags did not work.
The ambulance was called by passing drivers. The doctors arrived in 15 minutes, took Ksenia to the Sklifosofsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.
"At first she was in a deep coma, then she went into a stopper, one of the beautiful days she fully regained consciousness. At first, they did not do a repeat operation. She could not speak because she was on a ventilator, but she was absolutely conscious," the man added.
The second operation was also successful, but then Ksenia fell into a coma. Doctors "diagnosed meningitis, which turned into more severe inflammatory diseases of the brain."
"The tests began to deteriorate, it came to blood sepsis. Once the heart was able to start… But the next day Ksyusha died — it was not possible to restart the heart," the widower concluded.
Now the husband of Ksenia Alexandrova intends to seek the installation of fences on a dangerous section of the Tver road.
