On August 12, vice-Miss Russia — 2017 Ksenia Alexandrova died at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine. The girl was seriously injured in an accident that occurred in Tver region back in July. For many days the doctors of the capital fought for her life, but they could not save her. Ksenia Alexandrova is also a participant in the Miss Universe 2017 contest.
According to Russian media, a moose that jumped out onto the road broke through the windshield and injured a girl who was in the front passenger seat.
"Her grace, beauty and spirit have left an unforgettable mark on the Miss Universe family. May the memory of her continue to inspire kindness, strength and love to all who were lucky enough to know her," reads the condolence post on the account of the Miss Universe contest.
