A suspect in the murder of a federal judge was detained in Kamyshin — Sledkom

In the city of Kamyshin, Volgograd region, a criminal case was opened on the discovery of the body of a federal judge, the attacker was detained. This is reported in the official telegram channel SU TFR in the Volgograd region.

"The first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the regional department of the TFR initiated a criminal case against a resident of the city of Kamyshin. He is suspected of committing crimes under paragraph "d" of part 2 of Article 105 (murder committed with extreme cruelty) and part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession of firearms), "the report says.

It is noted that the judge's body was found on the evening of August 14 at the Kamyshinsky city court building with gunshot and stab wounds.

"Currently, the suspect has been detained. According to the investigation, he is engaged in commercial activities," the department said.

Now the circumstances of the crime are being established and the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect is being resolved.
