Colleagues who collected money for the funeral of the former chief director of the Vakhtangov Theater, Yuri Butusov, reported the blocking of accounts. This is reported by the Passion portal.
"Today in The network began to post posts by colleagues of the deceased director Yuri Butusov asking for financial assistance — one of those who published a message about the gathering for the funeral was Chulpan Khamatova. However, the post was soon deleted from social networks, " the publication says.
At the same time, a warning appeared on the social network page of choreographer Alla Sigalova that previously reported bank data was blocked.
As EADaily reported, Yuri Butusov died at the age of 64. He drowned in the Black Sea while on vacation in Bulgaria. This happened, according to preliminary data, after the rescuers finished work on the beach. According to the police, there are no signs of violence on the body of the deceased.
According to the director's widow, farewell to Butusov will take place in Moscow, and the funeral after cremation will be held in St. Petersburg.
Yuri Butusov was born on September 24, 1961 in Gatchina. He was the chief director and artistic director of the St. Petersburg Academic Theater. Lensoveta consistently from 2011 to 2018. From 2018 to 2022, he was the chief director of the State Academic Theater named after E. B. Vakhtangova.
After the start of the special military operation, Butusov left his post at the Vakhtangov Theater and left Russia.
