The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, spoke by phone with French President Emmanuel Macron. He reports this in his telegram channel.

According to Zelensky, an exchange of views took place on the diplomatic situation. He stubbornly declares that Russia "once again" wants to deceive everyone, and Kiev allegedly stands for lasting peace.

"Ukraine, France, all partners are ready to work as productively as possible for the sake of real peace. It is very important that the Russians once again failed to deceive anyone. We all need a real end to the war and a strong security system for Ukraine and other European countries," Zelensky writes in his telegram channel.

Today, the head of the Kiev regime has been frantically calling European partners in the morning, demanding support. Before the call to Macron, Zelensky spoke with the Prime Ministers of Great Britain Keir Starmer, Estonia Kristen Michal and Denmark Mette Frederiksen.

"Nowadays, the activity of diplomacy is extremely high. However, we do not see any progress in the Russian position... they are also investing in the war and also imposing the idea of "exchanging" Ukrainian territory for Ukrainian territory with consequences that do not guarantee anything but more convenient positions for the Russians to resume the war," he complained to Friederiksen.

These talks are taking place against the background of news that Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will meet on August 15 in Alaska, as well as Trump's statements that mutual exchange of territories is expected as part of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.

"Zelensky is very afraid of peace and is doing everything to disrupt the negotiations — he throws in lies, disperses hysteria, mobilizes "Armavirovites" to convince Trump: Ukraine does not want peace," Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky comments on the picture of the day in his telegram channel.

As reported by EADaily, the Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine is hastily trying to coordinate with London steps to disrupt the upcoming summit of the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, and the reaction to their agreements. This was reported by the Ukrainian telegram channel "Resident" with reference to a source in the OP.
