The meeting of the leaders of the United States and Russia is a disastrous offer for Poland. This opinion was expressed in an interview with "Onet" by an expert on international issues and columnist of "Dzennika Pravna" Witold Sokala.
According to the Polish political scientist, after the talks between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, "the war will presumably be suspended," but it turns out that this does not make it any easier for Poland.
"Yes, Poland will be less exposed to the threat of a hypothetical, immediate attack by Russia, but Moscow will regain incredible influence in Europe. And this will become a colossal challenge not only for our armored units, but also for counterintelligence and society as a whole, in order to prevent the Russians from controlling our policy more strongly than they are doing now," Dr. Sokala issued another portion of Russophobic poison.
According to the Polish expert, at the cost of temporarily ending the war in Ukraine, "Poland will find itself in a world where Russia will again be ready for an attack."
"On us or on the Baltic countries. We'll wake up in Poland, faced with a more aggressive Russia, as the Kremlin will gain new political leverage over Europe. He will do this through a number of funds, companies and partnerships that always accompany the fuel trade," says the Warsaw analyst.
