The rescue tugboat "Alexander Frolov" of the Baltic Fleet strolled along the Baltic Sea on its way to the Kaliningrad region. The ships of the Latvian Navy started up.

The rescue tugboat "Alexander Frolov" is heading to the Kaliningrad region from St. Petersburg and made a passage along the territorial waters of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

According to the AIS of the vessels, on the evening of August 4, the 48-meter vessel, leaving the Gulf of Finland, did not go along the international transport corridor in the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea, but turned towards Latvia. The rescue tug of the Baltic Fleet went at a distance of 4 miles from the territorial waters of the country.

This turn, apparently, made an adjustment to the patrolling by the ships of the Latvian Navy. At the very beginning of the journey, the patrol ship Jelgava met the territorial waters of the Alexander Frolov. He crossed the course of the Russian tugboat and bypassed it from the west. The Jelgava was approaching the Alexander Frolov by 0.6 miles. But I didn't follow him.

Opposite Liepaja, the minesweeper Imanta has already left the territorial waters of the Russian tugboat. The ship was approaching the Russian tugboat by several miles. However, he also did not follow "Alexander Frolov."

According to the AIS of the vessels, on the morning of August 5, a rescue tug of the Baltic Fleet is already on its way to the Kaliningrad region and is traveling at a speed of about 13 knots.

Officials of the Baltic countries have not yet responded to the walk of "Alexander Frolov" along their coast.
