Five alcoholic enterprises, whose owners financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will be sold in Russia. The Government has included them in the forecast privatization plan.
"In the category "Beverage Production“ Velikoustyugsky Distillery (Vologda region) has been added to the list for privatization. This is a key asset of Bayadera. Velikoustyugsky LVZ has been operating since 1895, mainly produces vodka under the brands "Quail", "From Santa Claus", "Ustyuzhanka","TASS reports with reference to government documents.
Also, the companies "National Alcoholic Traditions", "Business Group" (Moscow), "Southern Alcoholic Traditions" and "Alcoholic Traditions of Crimea" (Crimea) were added to the Wholesale Trade subsection for privatization.
According to the agency, the beneficiaries of Bayadera Holding were included in the list of extremist associations in Russia. Next, the court granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office for the seizure of the holding's assets. And in April, the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia turned the shares of five alcohol companies into state income.
