Directors Ilya Khotinenko and Vladimir Karabanov made the film "Scarecrow", which is a reinterpretation of the cult film of the same name by Roland Bykov, released in 1984. This is evidenced by the program of the "Window to Europe" film festival.
The description of the picture says that the main character Anya takes the blame of her friend and becomes the object of harassment of classmates in the real world and in the world of social networks. Actors Maria Simonova, Maxim Karushev, Christina Asmus, Kirill Kyaro and others took part in the film.
A remake of the original film, starring the young Kristina Orbakaite, was included in the festival's competition program along with nine other feature films.
As EADaily reported, in early June, the Shot telegram channel reported that Orbakaite, who left Russia twice, left assets in the country, the value of which is estimated at about 1 billion rubles.
