The Russian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on the territory of one of the training units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the data at 21.30, three servicemen were allegedly killed and 18 wounded, the Strana newspaper writes.
It is noted that emergency services are working on the spot, all necessary medical assistance is provided to the wounded.
To clarify the circumstances of the incident and the causes of the loss of personnel, a commission headed by the head of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been established, and an internal investigation has been appointed. If it is established that the actions or inaction of officials led to the death and injury of servicemen, the perpetrators will be brought to justice, the command said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the telegram channel "Inside Out" reports some details of the strike on the APU training ground near the settlement of Goncharovskoye, Chernihiv region.
"According to local sources, the BTGr training camp of the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Strategic Reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was deployed there. After confirming the information with objective control, 2 Iskander missiles were immediately sent there, one of which with a cluster warhead. Our sources reported that as a result of the strike, up to 200 personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated," writes TK.
