It was at night that the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a group strike with high-precision long-range weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. A military airfield, an ammunition depot and components for the production of UAVs were hit, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported today, July 28.

Units of the North group of forces defeated the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Alekseevka, Khrapovshchina, Kondratovka, Yunakovka and Andreevka of Sumy region.

In the Kharkov direction, units of the motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements Ambar and Melovoye of the Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 165 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, five vehicles and five artillery pieces. The station of counter-battery warfare, a warehouse of ammunition and materiel were destroyed.

The units of the Zapad group of forces improved the situation along the front edge and defeated the Armed Forces formations in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye, Shandrigolovo, Novoselovka of the DPR, Druzhozhovka and Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 250 military personnel, 18 vehicles and two field artillery guns. Four electronic warfare stations and seven ammunition depots were destroyed.

The units of the "Southern" grouping of troops defeated the manpower and equipment of four mechanized, airmobile, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Serebryanka, Shcherbinovka, Katerinovka, Seversk, Chasov Yar, Alexandro-Shultino and Konstantinovka DNR. The enemy lost up to 270 servicemen, a tank, four vehicles and four artillery pieces, including a 155-mm M777 howitzer made in the USA. An ammunition depot and two material depots were destroyed.

Units of the Center group of forces actively liberated the settlements of Boykovka and Belgiyka of the DPR. The formations of two mechanized, airborne, infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade and a National Guard brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Krasnoarmeysk, Novoukrainka, Udachnoye, Chunishino, Muravka and Dimitrov of the DPR. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to more than 395 servicemen, a tank, nine armored combat vehicles, including an M113 armored personnel carrier, an HMMWV armored car and a MaxxPro armored vehicle manufactured by the USA, five vehicles, two field artillery guns, and an Israeli-made RADA radar station.

The units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defense. The manpower and equipment of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three air defense brigades and the National Guard brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Chervonoye, Temirovka, Zaporozhye region and Sosnovka, Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 205 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles and two artillery pieces. The AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery warfare station manufactured in the USA and a material warehouse were destroyed.

The units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated the formations of the mechanized brigade and two coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Novoandreevka, Stepnogorsk, Zaporozhye region, Antonovka and Nikolskoye, Kherson region. More than 55 servicemen, three vehicles and six electronic warfare stations were destroyed. An ammunition depot and two material depots were hit.

Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery defeated temporary deployment points of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries in 139 districts. An air defense missile of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system manufactured in the USA and 203 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down.
