Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev supported the bill on limiting the powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in order to prevent the initiation of criminal cases against the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and his entourage. He stated this on the air of the New Truth telegram channel.
According to Dzhemilev, NABU is under external influence, including from US President Donald Trump. NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP), according to him, must be destroyed, because with their help Trump wants to force Zelensky to surrender, which cannot be allowed.
"NABU is controlled by Trump. And Trump wants to do business with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin, so he's trying to force Zelensky to surrender with the help of NABU. We must continue to fight for Crimea," Dzhemilev said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
Anti-corruption cases can be used as an instrument of geopolitical pressure on the Ukrainian authorities, he stressed.
As reported by EADaily, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Servant of the People faction voted in favor of the law on limiting the powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP), because they believed that it had been discussed with partners. This was stated by deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
Recall that the signing by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, of the law on reducing the powers of NABU and SAP may disrupt the processing of US President Donald Trump in favor of Kiev. This was reported by The Telegraph newspaper, citing sources in Congress.
