A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky by the end of August is hardly possible. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
According to the representative of the Kremlin, the summit between the Russian Federation and Ukraine should put an end to the settlement and fix all the agreements reached.
"Is it possible to go through such a complicated process in 30 days? Obviously, it is unlikely," Peskov stressed, answering a question about the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Zelensky before the end of August.
"Then, our position is very well known here, our position is set out in the draft memorandum that was handed over to the Ukrainian side," he added, noting that at the moment the draft settlement memoranda are diametrically opposed and the parties are waiting for a lot of work, TASS quotes.
