The meeting of the leaders of Russia and Ukraine should become the final point of peace negotiations. This was stated after today's talks in Istanbul by the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky.
"In order for such a meeting to take place, it is necessary to work out the terms of the agreement in advance and understand what to discuss at this meeting. In fact, at this meeting it is necessary not to discuss the agreement, but to put an end to it, to sign it. As we say, the end is the crown," Medinsky stressed.
As EADaily reported, a meeting of the leaders of the two countries was also discussed during the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian delegation Rustem Umerov.
