As part of the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul, a meeting of the leaders of the two countries was also discussed. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian delegation Rustem Umerov.
"Among the main topics are a cease—fire, the release of prisoners and a meeting of leaders for a just peace," Umerov writes, quoted by Strana.
According to Umerov, Kiev proposes to hold a meeting of the leaders of Russia and Ukraine until the end of August.
