At the age of 69, the former commander of the Polish Ground Forces, retired Lieutenant General Waldemar Skshipchak, died suddenly.
In 2006-2009, Skshypchak held the post of Commander of the Polish Army Ground Forces, since 2011 he has been an adviser to the Minister of National Defense, and in 2012-2013 — Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Defense.
For the Russian reader, Waldemar Skshipchak was known as a military news commentator with a constant Russophobic filling. So, a year ago, a retired general of armor threatened to "liquidate" the Kaliningrad region.
"In the event of a conflict between NATO and Russia's future for the Kaliningrad Region will be the liquidation of this Russian—occupied territory," Skshipchak blurted out.
Even earlier, Skshipchak announced Poland's territorial claims to the Russian Kaliningrad region. So, in an interview with the publication "Super Express", the general carried the following nonsense:
"The Kaliningrad region is the occupied territory of Poland. Poland should raise the issue of belonging to the Kaliningrad region, which has been occupied by Russia since 1945."
