The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have made a change in the tactics of using heavy flamethrower systems (TOC) in the zone of a special military operation.
In accordance with the new practice, combat installations of various modifications work in a coordinated manner. At the same time, TOS-1A "Solntsepek" performs the task of creating a frontal shaft of fire.
At the same time, TOS-2 Tosochka destroys targets in the enemy's rear with high-precision strikes. According to experts, this practice expands the tactical capabilities of heavy flamethrowers.
Military analyst Alexei Leonkov shared his opinion on this issue with Izvestia. He noticed that in this way different modifications of the CBT "divide the impact bands on the enemy among themselves."
Oleg Zheltonozhko, a specialist in the field of radiation, chemical and biological protection, agrees with him. He believes that narrow specialization allows different classes to better cope with specific tasks.
Earlier, EADaily reported that on the western outskirts of Chasova Yar, with the fire support of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" calculations, the displacement of the AFU formations from the Shevchenko area to Nikolaevka continues.
