Russian units from the Zapad group of forces, during a breakthrough from the direction of the village of Zelenaya Dolina in the direction of the Nitrius River in the DPR, managed to wedge 1 km into the depth of the enemy's defenses.
This was stated in his Telegram channel on Tuesday, July 15, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources. He noted that as a result, our military took Ukrainian positions in the forest belt.
"Thus, from the south of Karpovka to the north-east of the village of Sredne, the inter—position space is shortened in a number of areas - our troops are beginning to press the Ukrainian militants to the water barrier," the veteran said.
He explained that this significantly worsens the operational and tactical situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the positions in the coastal zone are in the lowlands and are well shot by the Russian military.
Earlier, EADaily reported that during the liberation by Russian troops of the village of Voskresenka in the DPR, many militants of the Kiev regime fled their positions, avoiding contact combat. At the same time, they abandoned their dead and even wounded in positions, who eventually also died.
