Russian media enthusiastically quote the words of the priest that in In Russia, "women have become dead, cowardly, depraved and do not want to give birth." Archpriest Andrey Tkachev, who serves as rector of the Trinity Church in Khokhlakh, is known as a passionate preacher of Orthodox values, and addresses the flock in a modern language. This causes the bitterness of those who can rightfully be attributed to those mentioned in the Gospel "our name is legion." So today, a number of liberal and "sympathetic" media rushed to report on the "insult to Russian women", without really thinking about the meaning of what was said and without listening to the whole sermon.

Meanwhile, the meaning of the priest's appeal consists in simple theses that do not require proof: A family is not a union of "two people", but only a man and a woman. In addition, now our society is hurting and must overcome the consequences of the failed demographic policy, which led to a reduction in the population of Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says the same thing: in Russia it is necessary to make it fashionable to give birth to many children. The main task of the state is to save the people.
