The President of the United States Donald Trump allows Kazakhstan to supply only raw materials to the United States. This follows from his decree published on the White House website.
As is known, Kazakhstan's exports to the United States are based on crude oil, uranium, silver, ferroalloys and other natural resources, which account for more than 95% of supplies. All these types of goods are included in the list of exceptions.
Thus, the duties will affect only 4.8% of Kazakhstan's exports, which include products from the manufacturing sector.
Simply put, Trump allows Kazakhstan to supply only the raw materials they need to the United States, the lion's share of which, by the way, the United States itself pumps out of Kazakhstan's subsoil as its raw material appendage. Everything else is forbidden.
