The former soloist of the female pop group "Brilliant" Olga Orlova became an assistant to the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Vladimir Burmatov (United Russia). The singer herself announced this on social networks.
"For me, Vladimir Vladimirovich has always been the only representative of the authorities who acted in the interests of our younger brothers. I have known him for many years, how much we have done together, we will continue to try to help animals," Orlova emphasized.
She expressed hope that by joint efforts it will be possible to achieve respect for the rights of homeless and pets.
"It is in our power to regulate the situation, to propose new initiatives in order to be heard," Orlova concluded.
Olga Orlova is now 47 years old. She is one of the first members of the Brilliant group, was a member of the collective in 1995-2000, after which she began a solo career, releasing two albums and several singles. In 2002, she starred in the historical drama "The Golden Age", playing one of the main roles. Later she took part in various TV projects: "The Last Hero", "Star Factory", "The Property of the Republic", "Fashion verdict", "Culinary duel", "Live broadcast", "Let them talk", "Battle of psychics" and many others. In March 2017, she became one of the hosts of the reality show "Dom-2".
