We need to establish communication with Russia in order to resolve the conflict on the Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Juraj Blanar.
According to him, the conflict on Ukraine cannot be completed with the help of weapons, so it must be completed with the help of diplomacy.
"We will return to compliance with international law and look for ways to communicate with the Russian Federation," he said.
He also believes that the West should find a way to cooperate with the Russian Federation.
"And maybe even forgive everything that happened," said Blanar.
In addition, he stressed that "we do not want a war between Russia and NATO, because it would be the third world war."
"We want the conflict to be resolved peacefully," the Slovak Foreign Minister said.
Recall that Slovakia has been opposed to pumping Ukraine with weapons in recent years and considers it necessary to establish a dialogue with Russia. In Kiev, they react extremely negatively to such proposals. On June 28, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that he sees no reason to meet with Vladimir Zelensky because he hates him.
