The State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus, as part of the special operation "Harpoon", disrupted the upcoming drone attack on strategic objects of the republic. This is reported by the ONT TV channel.
It is noted that the operation lasted 732 days.
"The State Security Committee conducted a multi-way special operation called Harpoon. As a result, it was possible to pull out from abroad the organizer of the group that was preparing attack drones to literally blow up Belarusian strategic facilities," the message quoted by Vesti says.
This year, 14 people were detained for espionage and high treason, the KGB of Belarus said on June 22. It was noted that they conducted intelligence on the territory of the republic, in particular military infrastructure and railways.
