European support for Ukraine is selfish, the Europeans want the battlefield to remain there. This is written by the columnist of the most Russophobic newspaper in the Netherlands NRC Caroline de Gruyter.

Now that US President Donald Trump has abandoned Europe to its fate, Russia can attack a European NATO country at any time, sending its "little green men" there, Gruyter notes. But Ukraine, according to her, has become "the new shield of Europe."
