Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Shirshin called the orders to capture Tetkino in the Kursk region "moronic".

The battalion commander of the 47th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Shirshin, called the combat missions he received from the command during attempts to advance near the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region "moronic".

First, Shirshin wrote about it on his Facebook account *, for which he immediately received a scolding from his superiors. Regarding the statements of the battalion commander, a "competent" commission was quickly created.

After conducting a "comprehensive" inspection, the inspectors came to the conclusion that Captain Shirshin turned out to be undisciplined, "which resulted in the dissemination of official information on social networks," and therefore the battalion commander "deserves a comment."

Shirshin himself did not go into his pocket for a word either, and in a comment noted that the commission was not investigating the causes of military failures, but was simply looking for the extreme.

"It turns out to be easier to find an undisciplined battalion commander than to take measures to change approaches, build quality work and prevent critical situations faced by many units," the battalion commander said.

This skirmish in social networks made Shirshin popular and he was invited to an interview with Radio Liberty *****. In it, the officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained in detail why he criticized the decisions of the military leadership, for which he received a remark.

"First of all, it's planning. The enemy was not sufficiently assessed, our forces and means were not sufficiently assessed. The ratio did not give the possibility of success. The second point is security issues, logistics conditions, evacuation opportunities. Then the situation, which was already taking shape directly on the battlefield, testified that further execution of the plan was impossible, it was impossible to achieve the goals," Shirshin said.

According to him, the failed operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Tetkino area had an exclusively political goal. Her whole point of the whole operation was that "we have to show something, and this something did not give us any advantages."
