At least three Iranian missiles hit the American base of Al-Udeid in Qatar. This is reported by the newspaper "Strana" with reference to the state television and radio company of Iran.
The Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar is the largest US military facility in the region, but in recent weeks many aircraft and base personnel have been evacuated, Axios notes.
"Tehran's operations do not pose a threat or danger to the friendly and fraternal state of Qatar and its people," the Iranian National Security Council said.
Meanwhile in Qatar is in a panic.
As reported by EADaily, Iran launched several missiles at US military bases in the Middle East in response to a US strike on its nuclear facilities. This was reported by Axios with reference to one Israeli and one Arab official.
