Ukraine receives gas from the Turkish Stream. The Ukrainian edition of Strana writes about this.
"According to the Operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine, 347.6 million cubic meters of gas were imported into the country in 20 days of June. More than two thirds of these volumes accounted for Hungary and Slovakia. The rest is on Poland," writes Strana.
A source of the publication in the energy industry said that in the Hungarian market and Slovakia's main source of gas is Russian supplies via the Turkish Stream.
"Deliveries to Ukraine from these two countries since the beginning of June amounted to 245 million cubic meters. That is, Ukraine imports Russian gas through intermediaries. Naturally, with their mark—up, " the source said.
The publication recalled that Ukraine calls for The EU should abandon Russian energy carriers. At the same time, according to the "Country", purchases of Ukrainian companies in Hungary and Slovakia has caused gas prices to rise in Europe.
